Juan and his crew did a great job restoring my sprinkler system. He took the time to make sure everything was repaired and set up for the season. When should I winterize my sprinkler system in Wisconsin?
In Southeast Wisconsin, plan your blowout for late September through early November — after you're done watering for the year, but before the first hard freeze. Any water left in the lines will freeze, expand, and crack pipes and fittings. Schedules fill quickly once the first frost warning arrives, so it pays to book early. Do you repair sprinkler systems installed by other companies?
Yes. We diagnose and repair irrigation systems of every brand and age — broken heads, leaking valves, dead zones, and controller problems — whether or not JNP installed the system originally.
Will installing a sprinkler system tear up my lawn?
Far less than most homeowners expect. We use trenching methods that minimize disruption, and lawns typically recover within a few weeks. As one of our Google reviewers put it, he was "surprised and pleased" that we installed his system without destroying his lawn.
How long does a sprinkler system installation take?
Most residential installations are completed in one to two days, depending on the size of the property and the number of zones. Before we start, we flag out every zone and head location so you know exactly what's going where — and when we finish, we test the full system and walk you through your new controller.
Do smart controllers and rain sensors really make a difference?
Yes. A smart Wi‑Fi controller adjusts watering automatically based on weather, and a rain sensor skips cycles after storms — so your system never runs in the rain. Together they keep your lawn healthier and noticeably reduce water use. We can add both to most existing systems.
